American Liver Foundation

Our mission is to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease.

Our core values guide our work as volunteers and staff of the American Liver Foundation as we move toward our ultimate goal of a world without liver disease. By living these values every day, we offer hope to all those affected by liver disease. The American Liver Foundation was created in 1976 by the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD). Research is integral to the work of American Liver Foundation and is essential to improving treatment and finding cures. Many forms of liver disease are preventable, and many more can be cured if detected early. Yet tens of thousands of people in the U.S. are living with liver disease and don't even know it.

Military Friends Foundation

Our mission is expanding every day. The Military Friends Foundation recognizes the unique contributions and sacrifices made by Massachusetts National Guard and Reserve families. We are proud to offer financial assistance to eligible families who have faced hardships related to active service. We will continue Serving Our Heroes...One Family At A Time.

The Military Friends Foundation was established in 2003 with the financial support of generous private donors who wished to recognize the unique service of citizen soldiers and airmen. Unlike any other time in history, these men and women are being called upon to serve this Nation overseas. Created as an independent non-profit organization, the Military Friends Foundation is designed to assist eligible Massachusetts National Guard and Reserve families facing financial hardships related to a deployment or extended activation. To date, the Military Friends Foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial grants to Massachusetts military families in need.
